Jan 3 • Mila and Maya 🐾

Feb 01, 2026

Our companions on the road and in life.
Each one with a very clear role.

Mila cares.
She teaches us about love through care, presence, and patience. With the wisdom of a calm old soul at eleven years old, she reminds us every day that this journey also calls for pauses, deep listening, and trust in timing.

Maya protects.
Always alert, with love and playfulness. At three years old, she jumps, spins, and plays. Her energy keeps us grounded in the present and will definitely bring lightness to the long days on the road.

Between us, there’s a subtle, almost telepathic connection. A quiet understanding that inspires us and brings us back, again and again, to unconditional love.

Our path will unfold as we move forward. And these two girls are part of the team: not just as companions, but as a living presence, reminding us of what truly matters.

Everyday these two bring joy, love, and patience: three essential qualities for this great journey that begins outside, but happens, above all, within.

Or maybe better said: love at first sight. It didn’t feel like we were buying an RV.It felt like we were meeting our next home and adventure. And with that came the question: what should we call it...
Apr 1 • Putting things in place
We finally parked our motorhome in our backyard: a Thor Majestic 23A. It’s a curious feeling because we haven’t left yet, but somehow, we’ve already begun. The rig is big. It now sits in our backyard access, and it’s hard to ignore its presence. We’re now stepping in and out, opening drawers and cabinets, testing things, trying to understand not only where things go, but how we’re going to inh...
Mar 2 • The journey is taking shape - lighter
In the past few months, I’ve found myself returning to a simple question—one that isn’t easy to answer honestly: what do I really need? It didn’t arrive all at once. It surfaced gradually, almost unnoticed, in the middle of practical decisions: what to bring, what to leave behind, what to sell, what to give away, what fits and what doesn’t. I used to think I needed a fairly robust setup to work...
