Strategic Planning in a Rapidly Changing World
As the world becomes increasingly unpredictable, traditional strategic planning falls short in providing businesses with the flexibility they need to adapt to change. A linear approach to the future clashes with the reality of rapidly changing markets, leaving companies vulnerable to sudden disruption.
At the same time, Agile development has become popular, but it often leads to a reactive mindset rather than a proactive one. It can create a "no plan" work culture where every action feels successful, without shaping the future in a meaningful way.
Liberating Strategy offers a new way to approach strategic planning that is inclusive, flexible, and adaptable. It allows for more people to be involved, contribute, and probe-sense what is needed, resulting in a strategy that is better suited to the unpredictable environment we operate in today.

Based on the principles of the Liberating Structures, the Liberating Strategy framework makes possible to engage all stakeholders in the process and adapts to changing circumstances in real-time.
Our Liberating Strategy Virtual Workshop is designed for individuals who are interested in taking their knowledge and practice of Liberating Structures to the next level.
The purpose of this Virtual Workshop is to provide you with a hands-on experience and comprehensive understanding of the Liberating Strategy framework and how to apply this innovative approach to strategic planning processes.
Led by seasoned practitioners, this workshop offers a deeper dive into the principles, tools, and techniques of Liberating Structures, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with other experienced LS practitioners in a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Pre-Requisites
In order for you to make the most of this Workshop, it is important to have:
✅ Good Internet connection using a desktop or laptop;
✅ Basic fluency in Zoom;
✅ Basic fluency in Google Drive (Google Docs and Slides);
✅ ~2 hours per week for study and practice.

Facilitators
Carolina Almeida and Fernando Murray will be the leading the Design Group in this Workshop with special guests and Facilitators.
With deep gratitude for the authors - Keith McCandless and Henri Lipmanowicz - Carolina and Fernando have been infusing Liberating Structures in their practice since 2015.
In 2016, both coordinated the translation of Liberating Structures into Portuguese, and started gathering the Community of Practitioners in Brazil, today with more than 1,000 people.
Carolina and Fernando live in Nelson, a city nested in the rocky mountains in British Columbia, Canada. From Nelson, they partner as Consultants and Facilitators with clients across the globe.
