Join us to experience, and learn-by-doing, powerful facilitation strategies to promote active and effective participation in groups of any size
With Liberating Structures it is possible to awaken a participative and agile behaviour in meetings, planning sessions, classrooms or workshops. Liberating Structures productively disrupt conventional patterns in how we work together. They change dramatically the way results are generated without expensive investments, complicated training, or dramatic shifts in organizational structures.

What is an Immersion?
Maybe the best way to describe an Immersion is visualizing yourself learning a new language, living for a period of time in a new country. It would be an immersive experience, which means intense, deep and sometimes, discombobulating...😜
In an Immersion we experience the Liberating Structures at all times, structuring all interactions with the group.
» We do not talk about, we experience the Liberating Structures. This is when you learn the most...🤩
» We look behind the scenes. And then confirm how simple and powerful they are...🤔
» We reflect on results and discuss how to apply LS in different contexts. What can be an endless, rich and delightful conversation...😀

This will be our 69th Immersion, and both in the in-person and virtual formats, during an Immersion we intentionally experience various Liberating Structures, optimizing, reflecting and learning how interactions within the group can be richer, safer, deeper and more creative.

Meet Your Hosts & Design Team

We’re excited to bring a Liberating Structures Immersion to Winnipeg - hosted at the stunning Manitou a bi Bii daziigae and warmly convened by long-time local facilitator and community weaver Laurie Ringaert. Laurie, founder of Change Weavers Consulting, is a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) and Credentialed Evaluator who’s convened powerful gatherings like Art of Hosting and Graphic Facilitation workshops in Manitoba. She brings deep community roots and a passion for meaningful engagement.
The workshop will be co-facilitated by Carolina Almeida and Fernando Murray, who have been offering LS Immersions across Canada, Brazil, the USA, and Portugal. Their dynamic, inclusive, and energizing approach has helped build vibrant communities of practice and expanded LS globally. Together, this team offers a unique blend of global insight and local connection, creating space for transformative facilitation and lasting community ties.
Join us in this rare opportunity to learn, connect, and transform how we meet.
